Narva Art Residency started a cycle of events “Conversations in the Kitchen” at the beginning of 2022. We had several meetings at cosy kitchen NART (Joala 18) with cultural and public figures, artists and other interesting personalities. The conversation takes place in an informal setting, with a cup of tea and snacks.
The guest of the fourth meeting is our artist duo in residence SASHAPASHA – Helsinki-based artistic duo founded in 2009 in St.Petersburg by Sasha Rotts (born 1985) and Pavel Rotts (born 1982). They are doing a durational performance at NART from the 11th of June until the 18th of June when the talk happens. They also have a project about Pavel’s family history as well as one about the war traces that are visible in cities like Helsinki and Narva.
