Soome Kultuurifondi toetusel viibis Rovaniemist pärit multidistsiplinaarne kunstnik Miia Kettunen Narva kunstiresidentuuris aastal 2025. Kettuneni looming uurib inimese, looduse ja paiga seoseid keskkonnakunsti, fotograafia, tekstiili ja meedia kaudu. Miia algatas koostöös Eesti helikunstniku Faershteiniga „Kreenholm.
Taotlusvoor on avatud kuni 31. augustini 2026. Lisainfo: nart.ee/et/residentuuristipendium-soome-kunstnikele-nartis/

During my residency at NART, I created the landscape audiowalk Visions of Kreenholm in collaboration with Tallinn-based sound artist Faershtein. With the artistic freedom and production support provided by NART, the original idea evolved into a meaningful new direction in my practice. Rather than creating a work fixed in place, we created a space through which experiences and observations from the community could find voice and invite new embodied responses.

The abandoned Kreenholm textile factory in Narva carries layers of collective emotion that participants were able to explore through the walks. The work offered an intimate, atmospheric immersion into the mood of the factory’s surroundings on the banks of the Narva River. It opened up a shared understanding of land as a living interplay of built, altered, and natural environments to which humans inherently belong.

Rännaku lõpp-punkt.
