Do you remember how you celebrated the winter holidays as a child? Did you go sledding, build snowmen, stroll through snowy Narva, or stay at home around a big table with your family, by the Christmas tree?
We invite all Narva residents to take part in a nostalgic exhibition dedicated to the winter holidays. Send us your old photographs, postcards or short stories about how you celebrated the winter holidays in your childhood and youth. We especially welcome street photographs showing Narva’s winter scenes – the Christmas tree in the city square or anything else that captures the festive spirit.
From the submitted photographs, we will create a poster exhibition to be displayed at Narva Stockholm Square. The exhibition will be mounted on a new series of metal sculptures created by Ukrainian artist Ihor Tkachivskyi. His sculpture “The Joy of Being Human” was unveiled in early September.
