NART provides a Kreenholm postcard workshop for groups (by reservation)

Come with your colleagues, classmates, or friends and try your hand at printing postcards with Kreenholm textile patterns at NART! The patterns are made using linocut – a printmaking technique similar to woodcut. You can read more about linocut here.

The fabrics produced at the Kreenholm Manufacture have been a natural part of life in Estonia for decades, shaping the everyday experiences of several generations. Many people have encountered Kreenholm textiles in the form of clothing, bed linen, towels, or tablecloths. Today, part of the collection of Kreenholm textile samples is preserved in the Narva Museum.

The patterns were transferred onto linoleum by artist and Ingeri House director Ekaterina Kuznetsova, who also leads the workshop.
