The Narva Art Residency is currently showing the international group exhibition “Image of the Future with the Shadow of the Past ”, which combines contemporary art and handicraft. One of the artists in the exhibition is Vineta Gailite from Latvia, whose main artistic medium is handcraft. The exhibition presents two of her works, one a gobelin made in Hiiumaa and the other a yurta made of untreated hemp and wool. During the masterclass, Vineta will introduce the techniques of weaving, and visitors will be able to try them for themselves.
