As part of the “Narva – Estonian Autumn Capital 2025” program, NART hosted a landscape audiowalk on November 15 in the Kreenholm surroundings. Finnish artist Miia Kettunen created Visions of Kreenholm during her residency at NART in collaboration with Tallinn-based composer Aleksandr Zhedeljov (Faershtein). Participants were positively impressed by the audiowalk despite the cold temperatures. Here are some of their impressions: “The music enchanted me and the voice touched my soul,” “Something that is hard to describe in words,” “A truly special immersion into the atmosphere of Kreenholm.”
During the walk, participants could enjoy tracks from Faershtein’s new album, also available on Spotify:
Due to a limited number of places, some interested participants were unable to attend the audiowalk. We plan to organize the audiowalk again next spring, so stay tuned!
The project is supported by Narva city, the Finnish Cultural Foundation and Narva Gate.
