
Where: Workshop space at Oru 6, Narva
On August 2, Ukrainian artist Ihor Tkachivskyi will lead a welding workshop where everyone can explore how welding can become a form of art. Participants will learn the basics of working with a welding machine.
All materials and equipment will be provided on site.

Ihor Tkachivskyi is a Ukrainian sculptor and multidisciplinary artist who works with a variety of materials – bronze, wood, stone, metal, and even ice and snow. His art explores human nature, blending the archaic with the avant-garde. Ihor has participated in more than 80 international symposiums, exhibitions, and residencies, and his works are part of collections around the world.
This summer, as part of the NAIR (Narva public space installation residency) program, Ihor Tkachivskyi will create a new sculptural composition titled “The Joy of Being Human.”
