Screening of the documentary “Narva Venice” and discussion with the filmmakers

Narva Art Residency invites you to the screening of the documentary “Narva Venice” on Saturday, 21 February. The event is free of charge and will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.

The evening will open with the short film “10 Years of Art Residency in Narva”, created for NART’s 10th anniversary by Kristiina Iilane and Niels Gramsen.

Directed by Alexandra Pärn, the documentary “Narva Venice” takes the viewer to the Kulgu area – a unique summer retreat on the Estonian-Russian border, known as Narva Venice due to the power plant canals. In this quiet summer setting, boat garage owners meet international artists who come there in search of inspiration.
