Open lecture by David Vseviov on the role of culture

On 8 November at 15.00, as part of the Narva Art Residency Art Club, there will be an open lecture by historian and professor emeritus of the Estonian Academy of Arts, David Vseviov, on the role of culture. Art Club meetings are usually intended for selected participants, but this time the lecture is open to all interested visitors. The lecture will be held in Russian, admission is free.

David Vseviov in the author of many books, such as “Russia – far and near”, “Emperors of Byzantine”, “Ghosts of time” and various scientific and essayistic articles. He is the author of a popular radio show “Mysterious Russia” which has been on air for 20 years.

David Vseviov has been honored with many awards, among others National Culture Award of the Republic of Estonia, Estonian Opinion Leader of the Year and was also crowned with the European Parliament’s 2016 European Citizen’s Prize.
