Opening of Ihor Tkachivskyi’s metal sculpture series at Stockholm Square in Narva

Narva Art Residency and the City of Narva invite everyone on September 7, as part of the Station Narva festival, to Stockholm Square (located behind the town-hall) to celebrate the opening of a new sculpture series! The winner of this year’s urban installation competition in Narva is Ukrainian sculptor Ihor Tkachivskyi with his work “The Joy of Being Human”, created from metal sheets. The sculptures are located on the site where the historic Helsinki Street once stood.

At the opening, artist Ihor Tkachivskyi will share the story behind his work and lead a foil-printing workshop. In addition, a local guide will take visitors on a tour of the area, sharing fascinating stories about its history.

12:00–12:10 – Opening of the installation “The Joy of Being Human” (Stockholm Square, Rüütli 5)
12:10–13:00 – Foil-printing workshop by Ihor Tkachivskyi (free of charge)
