In August 2025, Kreenholm Garden will host a summer camp to build the Green Gallery, a greenhouse that will be a place for meetings, exhibitions and environmental initiatives.
The camp programme includes collaborative work, lectures, discussions and workshops on the topics of sustainable architecture, teamwork and ecology.
The project is led by artist Daria Morozova and architecture students Anneli Virts and Aleksandrs Špakovs.
Dates: 8 – 17 August 2025
Place: Kreenholm Garden, Narva, Joala 18
During 10 days we will together:
build a greenhouse that will become an open space for art and meetings
participate in lectures on ecology, sustainable architecture, community work and homemade furniture
discuss roots, identity and possibilities of collective care for the place we live in
What we offer to volunteers:
◉ accommodation in the NART residence dormitory
◉ participation in all the activities of the project
◉ if necessary, bus tickets to and from Narva
We are looking for three adult volunteers who are interested in: building, ecology and sustainable practices, working together and sharing knowledge, community and local stories.
Extensive knowledge of construction is not necessary, if you know how to at least hold a drill, you are already well suited for participation in our project.
We will be glad to welcome participants from Narva and other cities!
Camp language: Russian / English / Estonian (depending on the group)
