Marta Konovalov | “Artists Are Present”

Marta Konovalov is a designer-researcher, educator, craftivist, mender and a gardener. Her creative practice focuses on repair and regenerative textile design and aims to support emotional durability. 

The residency aims to discuss the potential of interfering in the global production processes by actively engaging in the development of the aesthetics of their clothing.  We meet with students to mend, patch and react to stains, wear and tear as a possibility to create patterns that welcome change.
