Allan Kukk | “Artists Are Present” (estonia)

Allan Kukk lives and works in Tallinn. As an artist, he explores the social aspect of drawing – the communication that takes place in direct contact between paper, drawing tools, and the artist. He has created the EKA Open Academy drawing courses “The Trail of Drawing” and “Impulsive Drawing” (2022) to share common experiences of the drawing process as active communication between its various parties.

The aim of the school-based art residencies “Artists Are Present” program is to increase the accessibility and presence of contemporary art in Narva. The project is supported by the British Council.
