10 Years of the People to People Programme – NART and British Council Partnership

10 Years of the People to People Programme – NART and British Council Partnership

Last Thursday, the NART team joined others to celebrate the end of the British Council People to People (P2P) program’s ten-year journey!

The British Council has supported countless Narva Art Residency activities through this program. From exhibitions like “Point of No Return. Attunement of Attention”, “VGA”, community projects like the Narva Venice Embassy and Kreenholm Garden, educational activities like Claire Bown’s training, the artists’ incubator program and NART Art Club meetings, Zimbabwean artists’ residencies, art residencies in Narva schools and much more.

The British Council is a great partner and mediator, empathetic and understanding in its work. Presence is an important keyword and we share the principle that art and culture should be accessible to everyone. NART projects, where art is a means of social inclusion and community engagement, have been supported thought these years.

Thank you, Ursula, Leila, Liis and others!
